After a 6 months of cultural emptiness I decided to come back to my movie habit.
It's sounds like the lack of freetime forces me to choose hours spent in theatre much more precisely then ever.

Life plays tricks on me. Never bored, never enough. Only four months passed since I decided to buy my apartment here. Four months since I lived 'normal life'. No transportation, no movings. I have even won floor coverings in stupid 'commercial competiton'. Nice wooden floor, 30m2. Still life.
I don't believe in destiny. I saw San Francisco once. What a great days it were. I lived three days in W-Hotel apartment at Down Town. For a stupid reason I paid only few bucks for a night. Don't ask why.
I love my architectural office here.
I truly love SF.
I never believed in life in Poland. Simply I dont belong in here.
but
Since last 4 months I have life I always imagined about... in here. Not because I'm rich and beautyful. I found something, just found something.
Last days I was offered a job in down town of SF. It was to never happen. Never! Cool architectural office!!

Seems that I'm on one of these odd paths with two ends. And nobody knows which is better.

Nomad vs. Life As Is

Some are still able to create transitory beauty. Penthouse idea. There's always kind of poetic something in living above the rest. I read tha rich mexicans build houses on a piles to be over the ground. It's like living on the trees. Closer to heaven.

What makes us need the place to live? I bought an apartment this year. Probubly this November I'm gonna move there. From the perspective of being a nomad it's a huge change in lifestyle. I always considered myself as a nomad. I always loved various cities, apartments, sitting in trains, planes, cars. Everything important I have is mobile. Mobile phone, cd player, creative muVo containing best 130 albums, bags and suitcases, online banking, credit card paying - everything hung somewhere in the air. Everything accessible from everywhere. Did I grow up or it's just a matter of pure need of owning something? Can't get out of my head think that I make a big step into different world.

murakami vs. houellebecq

This week two new books entered my life. There wasn't huge welcome, I did not jump into my bed with both of them, I did not forget about eating, washing, sleeping as I did sometimes (not seriously). However somehow I believe they are important.

Dance, dance, dance. - Haruki Murakami.
Last year Murakami become the most important writer in my life. He was like a gift and he was a gift. Somewhere in the on-line-world I met S. - S. lives in Tokio. (Well, she's not living in Tokio righ now because she's teaching this year in Warsaw.) Beceause she was going to come to poland we were making something in shape of 'cultural exchange', mostly not very practical informations about habits, moods, movies etc. I believe these things crate our local communities. Cultural data exchange - I perefer treat it like exchange of gifts. So I was given Haruki Murakami. She just mentioned his name, I just bought myself my first and most belowed "South of the border, West of the sun". Critics say that "Wind up bird chronicle" was his best but I preffer my first one. After this I bought all his books published here, so when I found "Dance, dance, dance" is availible - I couldn't stop myself and here it is.

Elementary Particles. - Michel Houellebecq
His language goes the way similar to my thoughts sometimes. After reading "Platform" I couldn't stop myself from being cynic for almost the month. I preffer books that have influence on myself. I'm ready for: Particles.

This makes me wonder if my favourite books give me the characters to identyfy? I have to think about it.

I think life should be fun. I always thought that life should be fun. It has a huge influence on my personal decisions. I went to quite funny high school. I graduated very amusing discipline. My job is cominc, my firm is more comic sometimes. My private adventures are amusing. As long as I can remember fun was very important for me.

Someone called me about 12 minutes ago. I was during my morning blog reading. Someone called... and as I can remember I answered him, talked about 5-6 minutes and ... and I can't remember what was it about. P. ( my buisness partner ) calls me "unplugged". I guess its about the time when I do something I don't react on anything. He says im 'unplugged guy'.
Well, it might be. It reminds me the funny situatiom refered to me by one of my employees which happened here in my office. Someone entered and told to me 'good morning' or 'hi' about 5 times. That probubly he did what he was to do and left. After 30 minutes I turned around and asked people wha was this inpolite person who came in and didn't even say 'hi'.
They laughed at me 15 minutes.

People say that I pretty good with "taking care". Unfortutnatly I don't really find any reason to care for anybody. I just do whatever I find nice and useful. What's so crazy unbelievable in fact that I do sometimes help or support someone with no reason? I can't even say that I like it. I just DO IT because I DO IT. That's it.

Yesterday evening, having nothing better to do I stepped to the bar. This is one of suburban bars you can meet throughout PL. Everage, except the fact that it's run by my friend, so you can find there some more people that I recognize as **friends**. Like in thousands of bars you can hear more or less understandable sentences floating in smoky air. Here's particular one I heard yesterday:

After making sharp joke-quize on S. blog site I started looking on myself a little scared. Yesterday my cooworker (she) said to me - yes, (uuuuf!) you're normal (after I told her to preffer female voices in music - What was she thinking before??). I was always telling her about my favourite movies, I was the one who brougt to her my books.
Yes I'm normal (I said to myself).
Is it really so unbelievable? I never wore those too long sweaters, I never spent more than one hour in library. I swear but I don't like sick jokes. I know how to fit throusers to jacket but I don't shave my face everyday.
I googled for a while this afternoon and found a trace. Metrosexual - quite smart meaning for male people who care about themselves... and this lovely piscture of David B. under... I stared at my monitor and ...if I'm part of this metro-world... then I looked in his eyes - impossible - I just care about colors, composition and shape. That's it. I don't love myself.
Well, no meaning for poor me... and you girls... what's wrong with your men-consiousness. You say thanks god you're normal. Normal like who?
